Airwork Flight Operations (AFO) provides engineering and maintenance support for our fleet of courier and freight aircraft, air ambulance aircraft, passenger aircraft, as well as support work for other operators. We are NZCAA Part 119 and Part 141 certified.
We have a major Australian engineering base in Brisbane (BNE), as well as satellite bases in Wellington, Christchurch and Perth.
Airwork Flight Operations also offers engineering advisory services to many overseas companies. Services for our overseas customers include engineering and maintenance support as well as specific equipment installations and modifications.

AFO owns and operates a fleet of 14 aircraft, for which our team of specialist engineers and technicians carry out ongoing maintenance. Our fleet is comprised of:
- One Boeing 737-200 freighter/passenger aircraft (ZK-NQC)
- Four Boeing 737-300
- Three Fokker F27-500 Friendship freighters
- Three Fairchild Metroliners (passenger/freighter a/c) operated by ECL
- Two Fairchild Metroliners operated by Air Ambulance
- One Piper Chieftain
Our Brisbane-based engineering team maintains three of our B737-300 freighters, which operate for Toll Priority each night in Australia.
